The Secretary General of the Global Platform for Syrian Students, Ms. Barroco, participated as keynote speaker in the Conference "Perspectives, Challenges & Practices for Integrating Displaced Students in European Universities" and shared the GP4SYS experience on "How to boost higher education opportunities for refugees and students in forced mobility".

The conference took place on 14 June 2018 at the Politecnico di Torino in Torino (Italy).

The event is organised in the framework of the project “European Centre for Refugee Integration in Higher Education” (EUCRITE), funded by Erasmus+ program, in collaboration with partners of EUCRITE project (Aalto University-FinlandGrenoble Institute of Technology-FranceKatholieke Universiteit Leuven-Belgium, Darmstadt University of Technology-GermanyGraz University of Technology-Austria).

The aim of the conference is to bring together a variety of stakeholders and practitioners from different European Institutions for higher education and non-profit organizations working on integrating students with refugee background in Universities across the continent.
